In the early 1980's Liv Benschine began a business that provided her with an avenue to share her passion for Scandinavian culture. The concept for her business began during a trip to Norway where she visited an old friend and past employer, Uni David-Anderson, a fourth generation descendant of the legendary David-Anderson jewelry designer. During this visit Uni suggested that she start selling her jewelry in the United States. The business began with 16 pieces of bronze jewelry, first displayed at a festival in Westbury Gardens, New York. The positive response to the Scandinavian jewelry was the inspiration and confirmation to take the business to the next level, offering jewelry to retail stores.

Liv began expanding the import business to include a variety of products from all of the Scandinavian countries - Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland. What first started out as a small business with 16 pieces jewelry has now expanded to offering a wide variety of product lines. She will be featuring traditional Solje, Pewter, Silver, Bronze and Gold in contemporary and traditional styles.
